Stocks Cool Off on Wall Street

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Stocks ended the week slightly down on Friday after a three day winning streak.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed the day at 18,014.28, down 101.56 points. The NASDAQ was down 15.95 points to 5,117. And The Standard and Poor’s 500 fell 11.48 points to close at 2,109.76.

Lingering questions about what Greece’s investors will do, and a dip in Asian markets helped fuel the plunge.

There will be a few more smiling faces greeting consumers this weekend though, Wal-Mart is bringing back their front door greeters, the Wall Street Journal reports. The greeters won’t just be back to help you find your way, the company also says they’re an important theft detection measure.

And outside of the brick-and-mortar world, there was also a shakeup in online shopping on Wall Street today: eBay sold off it’s Craigslist shares, a first step in preparing to become a stand-alone, Dow Jones reports.
