Reserve Strap Could Be Game Changer for Apple Watch Battery Life

Reserve Strap(NEW YORK) — Forget having to charge your Apple Watch every night.

The Reserve Strap, a power band made by a third-party company, claims it can help extend the battery life of an Apple Watch by more than 30 hours, according to the company’s website.

Apple’s flagship wearable has a stated 18-hour battery life, taking into account the different ways a user may interact with it throughout the day.

While the strap won’t ship until November, it could help solve concerns of some users as to whether their Apple Watch will make it through an entire day on a single charge.

The Reserve Strap said it complies with Apple’s band design guidelines for the wearable. When the band and the watch are drained, they can both stay together and be charged via a micro USB, according to the product’s specifications.

The band has the potential to be a game changer when it comes to battery life, the same way several brands of power cases have helped extend the battery life of smartphones.

It won’t come cheap, though. The Reserve Band has a listed price of $249.99.
