tarabird/iStock/ThinkStock(NEW YORK) — Stock experts warn that the next week could be volatile on Wall Street.

The Dow is off more than ten percent from its high in April and could drop further when trading reopens on Monday.

Fears of a global economic slowdown and the Federal Reserve on the verge for the first time in six years of hiking interest rates are the two key issues spooking investors, according to ABC’s Chief Business and Economics Correspondent Rebecca Jarvis.

The hiking of interest rates would mean borrowing goes up for everyone including those who want a car loan, a credit card and a mortgage.

Investors around the world will be monitoring China on Sunday night to see where the shaky Shanghai Index opens for the start of the week.
