Warm Springs, Ore. – Some more aggressive fire behavior on the County Line 2 Fire…

Fire has been burning outside the containment lines at the west end of Shitike Canyon. Fire bosses say “active to extreme fire behavior” could cause spotting outside the lines.

Fire is expected to continue to burn out in Shitike Canyon and could burn over Shitike Butte Lookout.

Crews will look for another place to build line in the canyon and try to use roads and new line to control fire spread.

Winds are predicted again for the weekend, along with some cooler temperatures and possible rain.
