(SANA’A, Yemen) — A suicide attack on a Yemen mosque left dozens dead on Thursday.
BBC News reports that a pair of explosions struck the al-Balili mosque in Yemen’s capital city during prayers for the Eid al-Adha holiday. At least 25 people were killed in the attack, with 36 more wounded.
Fighting between Houthi rebels and loyalist forces has been ongoing for months. Yemen’s President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi returned to the country just days earlier, after having been in exile in Saudi Arabia since March.
