(JERUSALEM) — New reports of violence in Israel as Israeli and Palestinian tensions continue to rise.
On Sunday, a Palestinian opened fire in a southern Israel bus station in Beersheba, according to police, armed with a gun and a knife.
Police said he killed an Israeli soldier and wounded at least 10 other people. The attacker was killed by police on the scene.
There were also five Palestinian stabbing attacks on Saturday that left three Israelis wounded and the assailants dead.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is said to be planning visits to meet with Israeli and Palestinian leaders to try and calm the tensions.
