iStock/Thinkstock(BEIRUT) — More than 30 people are dead following twin explosions in Beirut Thursday, the BBC reports. Dozens of others are said to be injured.

The blasts hit the Hezbollah stronghold of Borj al-Barajneh, a southern suburb of the Lebanese capital.

ISIS has since posted a message on Twitter, claiming responsibility for the attack. The group says the explosions were a result of a motorcycle being detonated and a suicide bomber.
