Traffic Stop Nets 113 Pounds of Pot in Klamath County

Klamath County, Ore. – Oregon State Police (OSP) arrested a Minnesota man for drug crimes in Klamath County after discovering a large quantity of marijuana in his vehicle.

Last Friday afternoon, an OSP trooper stopped a 2012 Toyota Camry, operated by David Huckaby, age 33, from St. Paul Minnesota, for a speed violation on 140E near Bly. During the stop the trooper located approximately 113 lbs., of suspected marijuana in the truck of Huckaby’s vehicle.

Huckaby was taken into custody for Unlawful Possession and Distribution of Marijuana. Huckaby was lodged at the Klamath County Jail.

OSP troopers were assisted at the scene by OSP Drug Enforcement Section Detectives. The investigation is continuing. The 113 lbs., of marijuana is valued at approximately $226,000.
