Two Prineville Men Busted For Meth Trafficking

Prineville, Ore. – Local drug agents arrested two Prineville men and seized nearly two ounces of methamphetamine early Wednesday. The Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) team had developed information last month that Toby Horn, 41, was involved in the trafficking of methamphetamine throughout the Central Oregon region.  During the course of the investigation Detectives were able to identify Horn’s criminal activities, some of which included his customer base, mode(s) of transportation and other individuals and locations that were involved in Horn’s criminal enterprise.

Shortly after 1 am Wednesday, the CODE team, along with assistance from the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, contacted and arrested Horn and Todd Poling, 43,  along Highway 20 near Black Butte Ranch.  Code detectives say Horn and Poling had driven to Salem earlier on this date, purchased methamphetamine and were returning to the Prineville area with the intention of selling the methamphetamine for profit.  During the stop, a drug detection K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.  A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 2 ounces of methamphetamine and other evidence of the sales and manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Both were booked into Deschutes County Adult Jail on drug charges.
