iStock/Stockthink(NEW YORK) — Get your brackets ready, because March Madness has officially begun. The NCAA Tournament is set with Oregon, North Carolina, Kansas, and Virginia as the No. 1 seeds.

One of the bigger stories sparking debate is Oregon (28-6) claiming the top seed over No. 2 Michigan State. It’s Oregon’s first No. 1 placement in the school’s history.

The Spartans were the expected top bill.

The Jayhawks are the overall No. 1 seed after winning the regular season plus conference titles in the country’s toughest conference – the Big 12.
