(NEW YORK) — Only 0.1 percent of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament brackets remain perfect after the first day of game play.
According to ESPN, just 14,525 out of approximately 13 million brackets went 16 for 16 on Thursday.
The first day of the tournament brought several upsets, including 12-seeds Yale and Arkansas-Little Rock beating 5-seeds Baylor and Purdue, respectively; and 11-seeds Gonzaga and Wichita State besting 6-seeds Seton Hall and Arizona, respectively.
Overall, the better seeded teams only took nine out of the 16 contests.
The first round of the tournament continues on Friday.
