Suspect Sought in Bend Bank Burglary

Bend, Ore. – Bend Police are looking for a young man who broke into a closed Bank Wednesday night. According to witnesses, the younger white male wearing a bandana style mask intentionally shattered the front glass door of Columbia Bank at 1701 NE 3rd Street.

As officers arrived in the area of the business they were notified that a custodian was also calling from inside the bank to report the burglary. The suspect male left the store a short time later withoutmaking contact with the custodian inside.  It doesn’t appear the suspect stole or damaged anything inside the business. The suspect left the area in an older model Toyota pickup with a dark canopy.   Officers checked the area, but the suspect wasn’t found.  The images below are from the surveillance cameras inside the business.
