(NEW YORK) — Get ready for an entirely new kind of Marvel superhero.
Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch debuted the first trailer for his new film on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night. Based on the Marvel comics character that debuted in 1963, Cumberbatch plays gifted but arrogant neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange, who, “after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.”
Doctor Strange, also starring Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Mads Mikkelsen, will be released November 4 by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
