ABC/Justin Jay(NEW YORK) — Get your skinny microphone out of the closet and ready those double-entendres.  Alec Baldwin will host a primetime version of Match Game for ABC.

The classic fill-in-the-blank celebrity game show — which drew much of its fun from watching the celebrity panelists trying to crack up one another — originally ran for thirty years on various networks and in syndication, ending in 1982. The late Gene Rayburn was the show’s best-known host.  There were also two short-lived revival attempts in the 1990s.

ABC’s ordered ten episodes of the new Match Game, to air Sunday nights starting June 26.  Baldwin says he’ll and his wife, Hilaria, will donate his paycheck to various arts charities.
