iStock/Thinkstock(DALLAS) — McDonald’s has announced that it is testing hamburgers made from fresh beef instead of frozen, according to USA Today.

The fast-food chain is testing the beef in 14 Dallas Texas locations. Employees are cooking the beef as they are ordered, the company said.

The test started in November, and the company does not have any concrete plans to expand to expand to its over 14,000 U.S. locations.

“It’s very premature to draw any conclusions,” McDonald’s spokeswoman Lisa McComb said.
