Bend, Ore. – 42-year-old Joel Matthew Hoffman was arrested last week on charges of sexually explicit interactions with a Florida girl on a smartphone app.
He was arrested again Wednesday, accused of similar actions with two Willamette Valley girls, one of whom he traveled to Salem to have sex with.
Hoffman was arrested at a home in Redmond where he was staying, according to Bend police.
He was taken to the Deschutes County Jail and booked on three counts each of using a child of sexually explicit conduct and first-degree online sexual corruption of a child, and two counts of luring a minor for sexual conduct.
His bail totals $130,000, according to jail records.
Bend detectives have continued their investigation since Hoffman’s initial arrest on June 8th, where he engaged in similar actions with an underage minor girl.
