Madras, Ore. – A 30-year-old Madras man was arrested yesterday on charges he was the gunman dressed in black with a skeleton mask who held up the Madras Burger King around closing time last Friday night.
Police had been actively investigating the armed robbery, which occurred shortly after 10 p.m. last Friday at the restaurant on Southwest Highway 97.
Investigators developed suspect information and identified a person of interest in the case, Timothy Edward Walker.
He was contacted late Thursday morning and arrested.
Police recovered some of the cash taken during the robbery at Walker’s home, as well as the gun believed to have been used in the crime.
