Bend PD Make Arrest In July Dutch Brothers Robbery

Bend, Ore. – On 7-23-16 at 11:04pm
Bend Police responded back on July 23 at 11p.m. to a report of an armed robbery at the Dutch Brothers located at the intersection of 3rd and Wilson. It was reported that a slender white male with a mask or similar pointed a gun at the female employee and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene with and undisclosed amount of cash.

In the following weeks, Bend Police followed leads and obtained other valuable evidence. A search warrant was executed and additional evidence was obtained.

After completion of the detailed investigation and execution a search warrant, Tyler Speas was arrested on 9-3-16 at about 11 am for the armed Robbery of the Dutch Brothers Coffee stand.

He is lodged at the Deschutes County Jail on the following charges – robbery , menacing, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Deschutes 2040 Public Hearing April 30th

Following a 24-month development process, the Deschutes County Planning Commission has recommended approval of the revised draft Deschutes 2040 Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is the County’s map for the future and provides the goals, policies, and actions
