Redmond, Ore. – A few teens from Redmond High School are pretty excited about a statewide honor they’ve received.
Ryan Schmid, Aaron Park and Trey Conley have been chosen for the All-State Jazz Band. They’ll perform with the honor band in January in Eugene.
The Oregon Music Education Association combed through close to 150 entries before ultimately choosing just 18 students from around the state, according tot he Redmond School District.
Last year was the first year jazz band was brought back to Redmond High after a few year’s absence.
