Sunriver Resort Half Marathon for a Cause Events to be Rescheduled Due to Air Quality

WHAT:  Due to weather conditions forecasted for this coming weekend, regrettably Sunriver Resort has decided to postpone the 7th Annual Sunriver Half Marathon for a Cause benefiting St. Charles Cancer Services. This includes all running events – the Half Marathon, 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash.

Sunriver Resort will contact all participants and issue an announcement of the new 2017 date. All regular resort activities are safe and open as normal, and are being monitored on a daily basis by Sunriver Resort management.

Refund options for run participants:

  • Rollover of full registration fee to the rescheduled event date to be announced
  • Participants can donate the full registration fee to St. Charles Cancer Services
  • 50% refund on registration fee

WHY: While we regret any inconvenience to participants – several forest fires in the region are creating smoky conditions that are potentially unsafe for extensive physical exertion, and the safety and health of runners is our top priority.
