Warm Springs man headed to prison for causing deadly crash

A Warm Springs man is headed to prison for causing a deadly crash north of Madras.

Leroy Hicks agreed to a plea deal that puts him behind bars for four-and-half years.

He knew his S-U-V had bad brakes when he ran a stop sign and slammed into a car at the intersection of Gumwood Lane and Boise Drive IN 2014.

His 5-year-old grandson died in the wreck and two people in the car were seriously injured.
