Two people have serious burns after an explosion in a Bend duplex.

Police say someone in one of the units in the 3000-block of Weddell Road was illegally making hash oil late

David and Jennifer Paulsen were taken to the hospital with burns, but a three-year-old girl in the home did not appear to be seriously injured.

The woman and three children who live in the other unit weren’t home at the time, and cannot return until repairs are finished.
