Trees along Highway 20 in Deschutes National Forest killed by weed killer

More than a thousand trees along Highway 20 in the Deschutes National Forest that were killed by the government’s use of a weed killer need to come down.

The U-S Forest Service is coming up with a plan to deal with the dead ponderosa pine trees.

Jefferson County followed the federal government’s instructions when it sprayed the weed killer in the area.
