A couple of Central Oregon volcanoes are among the most threatening in the country.
Government scientists Newberry Volcano and Three Sisters are on the list of 18 volcanoes that pose a very high threat.
The Bulletin reports it’s not because eruptions are imminent.
The volcanoes on the list are active and could cause the most havoc if they do erupt.
Other Oregon volcanoes classified as very high threats include Mount Hood and Crater Lake.
