A Madras man is accused of stabbing his girlfriend on Christmas Eve.

Police say Robert Stafford also used a hammer to smash an elderly couple’s glass door after the victim went to their house to get away from him.

The Bulletin reports a Madras Police officer responded to the “J” Street house and had to tase and pistol-whip Stafford, who was high on crack.
