Highway 97 would be split in Terrebonne under a plan the State Department of Transportation is recommending.

KTVZ reports two southbound lanes would use the existing highway and two northbound lanes would use 11th Street.

Ramps would go over Lower Bridge Way.

A second option would be to create a five-lane highway through Terrebonne.

You have until January 21st to comment.

Construction is slated to begin in about two years.
