ROBIN VAN LONKHUIJSEN/AFP/Getty Images(UTRECHT, Netherlands) — Multiple people have been injured following a shooting on a tram in a residential neighborhood of the Netherlands, according to police.
The shooting was reported just before noon in the center Dutch city of Utrecht, which is a little over 20 miles from the capital Amsterdam.
A shooting occurred on the #24oktoberplein in #Utrecht. The incident has been reported at 10.45 hour. Multiple people have been injured. The surrounding area has been cordoned off and we are investigating the matter.

Authorities are looking for a gunman, and counter-terrorism police have been deployed to investigate whether this was a terrorist attack.
