Bend Police provided more information regarding a double homicide that occurred over the weekend in a southwest Bend home, and also a death investigation from last December. 35-year-old Randall Richard Kilby of Bend was arrested on double murder charges after police were called to 60971 Granite Drive for a call regarding suspicious circumstances. The victims were identified as Jeffrey Allen Taylor, 66, and Benjamin Harlin Taylor, 69, both from Bend.
A phone alert was sent out to 1,750 residents in the area with a person of interest description. Several calls came into 911 spotting the person of interest near the intersection of Brookswood Blvd and Larkwood Drive. Officers found Kilby and took him into custody on murder charges.
Kilby is also being charged with the death of Daphne Dawn Banks from an assault last December.
