Mountain Biker Rescued After Crash

A Bend man was rescued after crashing his mountain bike on Tiddlywinks trail off Century Drive west of Bend Saturday. Jeremy Lanford, 44 sustained injures that prevented him from making it further down the trail without assistance from Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Volunteers.

13 DCSO SAR Volunteers responded to the scene, reaching Lanford at 10: 25 a.m.. Lanford was evaluated and treated on scene by SAR Volunteers and was able to walk on his own to a forest service road and was released to friends on scene. He intended to seek further medical evaluation on his own.
