Ridgeview High School presents its first musical showcase with a FREE Fall Concert on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Ridgeview High School Performing Arts Center. The season-opening concert features Bell So, Chorale, and Ravensong, along with the Concert Choir and the first-time appearance of the choir’s student percussion ensemble. Directors Belinda Sisson and Katie McCoy are supported in the performance by collaborative pianist Jean Shrader.

“The performance for this year’s kick-off concert shows off the students’ hard work and the music program’s growth and advancement,” said third-year conductor Belinda Sisson. “Only a few years ago, the choir was brand new. Our group has advanced and it is rewarding to see them sing amazing music confidently,” said Sisson, who joined the Raven team after graduating from Oregon State University’s music department. Evidence of the choir’s effort is their 6:30 a.m. rehearsal time each morning.

Sisson applauds Ridgeview Principal Brian Crook and Superintendent Charan Cline for their support, along with concert sponsor Bryan’s Automotive Unlimited.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The Performing Arts Center is located at 4555 SW Elkhorn Drive in Redmond.

Although the concert is free to the public, donations are welcome and appreciated. For more information, visit the choir’s Facebook page at
