Alzheimer’s Assn. Hosts Free Conference Tuesday

alzheimers

The Alzheimer’s Association will host a free Mini McGinty Educational Conference on May 14, 2024 from 10-2 at Central Oregon Community College (Room BEH-155) in Bend. This educational conference is aimed towards those who are caregivers of those diagnosed, those in the Early Stages of the disease, and all who are interested in brain health.

This educational opportunity honors the legacy of geriatrician Dr. Dean McGinty, an early advocate for the needs of those living with dementia and a pioneer in the Alzheimer’s family support movement. The conference will cover the latest in Alzheimer’s and dementia research, the 10 Warning Signs of the disease and a panel to discuss resources in your community.
