AAA Oregon/Idaho is now offering DC fast charging at many of its Service Centers in Oregon and Idaho. DC fast charging is the quickest and most powerful way to charge electric vehicles. It’s the latest service offered by AAA Oregon/Idaho for EV drivers.

“We’re proud to offer DC fast charging. This helps enable the EV road trip and ease range anxiety by making charging quick and convenient,” says Tim Morgan, President and CEO of AAA Oregon/Idaho. “AAA has helped keep drivers on the go for more than 100 years. Our members who drive EVs know that charging infrastructure is still sporadic. Our DC fast chargers will help drivers get from point A to point B, no matter what kind of fuel they use.”

DC fast charging is currently available at the Boise, Clackamas, Eugene, Lake Oswego, Medford Fleet, Salem and Springfield/Gateway AAA Service Centers. DC fast charging will be available soon at the Beaverton and Bend AAA Service Centers. Level 2 charging is also available at the Beaverton, Bend, Boise, Clackamas, Eugene, Lake Oswego, Medford, Portland, and Salem AAA Service Centers. Find more information at AAA.com/charge.

DC fast charging is the quickest way to charge an electric vehicle. The ChargePoint DC fast charger can charge an EV battery to 80% in 20-30 minutes.

AAA members can get a 50% member discount on DC fast charging and Level 2 charging at our AAA Service Centers. Simply download the ChargePoint app at the App Store or Google Play and provide your AAA membership number. AAA members also enjoy a 50% discount off the standard idle time fee. The charging stations are accessible to all electric vehicle drivers through the ChargePoint app. Find more information here.
