Redmond Police Seek Help In Finding Missing Man

Redmond Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 28-year-old Redmond man who has been missing more than a month.

Malecai Sloan-Ramsey was last seen January 17, 2025, near the Buckhorn Staging Area, west of the Redmond city limits. He told his friends he was going for a walk but never returned. Friends and family have been unable to reach him by phone or social media since January 18, 2025.

RPD with the assistance of the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) searched the Buckhorn Staging area on January 23, 2025, and again on February 19, 2025. K9’s and drones were utilized in the search efforts. RPD has worked with other law enforcement agencies across the state and have been unable to locate him to date.

RPD is asking for the public’s assistance. He was last seen wearing red Jordan sneakers, blue Carhart style pants and a flannel shirt. Described as a white male, approximately 6’4″, 170 pounds, with facial tattoos, and often has a mustache and a goatee.
