Road Work Delays On Hwy 19

paving

Crews have begun paving OR 19 between Fossil, at milepost 60, and Spray, milepost 96, in Wheeler County. This project is expected to finish mid-June.

Travelers can expect automatic flagging devices and pilot cars to direct traffic, with delays up to 20 minutes.

If you plan to travel this route, remember that this work may cause delays. Plan ahead and give yourself extra time. Be prepared to stop and give our crews space. If you want to avoid the delays, consider an alternate route.

Crews will not be working Friday, May 23, through Monday, May 26, for the Memorial Day weekend.

Schedules are dependent on the weather and subject to change.
