Redmond Woman Arrested In Mother’s Murder

A 42-year-old Redmond woman was arrested after police say she killed her mother in their home. According to Redmond Police, on June 8, 2025, at approximately 9:42 p.m., officers were dispatched a 9-1-1 call of a homicide in the area of the 3300 block of SW Glacier Avenue. RPD officers arrived on scene and located a deceased adult female. The death was determined to be a homicide. The suspect was the daughter of the victim and they resided together at the residence.

This was an isolated incident, no threat exists to the community. The names are being withheld pending the next kin notifications.

The suspect was arrested for Murder II and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The investigation is ongoing.
