The Deschutes Historical Museum invites the public to our 42nd Annual Chili Feed and Raffle event November 7-8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a fundraiser to support year-round programs and exhibits. Admission to the museum is free during the event.

Featuring “Millie’s Chili” and assorted pie flavors for dessert, this annual fall fundraiser was started 42 years ago by members of the historical society and features the chili recipe of Millie Rastovich Chopp.

In addition to lunch, tickets for this year’s raffle are also available with a chance to win gift baskets, selected from local and historic businesses, including The Old Mill District, Newport Market, Wild Birds Unlimited, Mt. Bachelor, Trader Joe’s, Tower Theatre, Oregon Feed and Irrigation, and more local business supporters.

Chili is $10.00 per person and is available to-go.
