Bend Park and Recreation District is opening registration for summer recreation programs and summer/fall sports leagues on March 17 – 18. The
Summer 2026 Online Playlist is available for viewing and download now. Registration will open for programs for mid-June through August.
- Tuesday, March 17, 6:00 a.m.: Youth summer camp registration opens. This includes full-day and half-day camps that are held for two-and-a-half hours or more for at least four consecutive days. A week-by-week Summer Camp Finder is available on the registration website.
Note: Due to high volume, day one’s registration process could be 45 – 60 minutes including wait time. BPRD staff recommend adding programs to your Wish List in the online registration account in advance and noting opening dates of the programs you’re interested in to help reduce time.
-
Wednesday, March 18, 6:00 a.m.: Recreation, enrichment, sports programs, swim lessons and leagues registration opens. This includes art, crafts, sports, roller skating, technology, cooking, teen volunteer sign-ups and more. Summer/fall sports leagues include adult cornhole, adult fall softball, adult golf, adult kickball, adult roller hockey, youth flag football, kindergarten soccer, youth soccer and middle school tennis leagues.
Summer camp payment plan returns
After its inaugural offering last summer, a summer camp payment plan is available for specific full-day youth camps – Operation Recreation, The PAC, Cougar Camp, Riley Ranch Nature Camp and Adventure Camp. Those registering during March 17 – 31 will have the option of making four installment payments for the camps. More information is available on the
summer camp payment plan webpage.
Registration information night event on March 11
BPRD invites community members to attend its Registration Info Night on Wednesday, March 11 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Larkspur Community Center where staff can assist attendees to get ready for registration.
With English and Spanish services, staff can set up/update a household account, provide activity details, help build a wish list, and assist with the scholarship process as needed. Event attendees get free access to that evening’s Rec Swim session or a voucher for a future drop-in visit to one of the recreation centers. Learn more at

Preparation recommendations and scholarships
For patrons who haven’t logged into their online account in the past 30 days, they are strongly encouraged to do so now to be sure they can successfully log in without issue and register for recreation programs on March 17 – 18.
Scholarships are available to those who qualify. BPRD encourages community members to
apply early to ensure the application is processed in time for registration. In the last year, approximately 3,300 individuals received financial support to participate in programs that provide enriching activities and contribute to a physically active community.
Additionally, please note that any outstanding balances on a household account must be paid in full before registering for any programs.
How to access in-person or phone assistance
“Our busiest season of the year, summer includes more than 1,200 program sessions for youth and adults,” said Michael Egging, recreation business manager. “It’s also the registration opening of our largest youth fall sports program – soccer. While soccer leagues begin in the fall, registration opens now and
the leagues fill to capacity each year.”
