Walden Awarded For Supporting Small Business

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Greg Walden has been named a “Guardian of Small Business” by the National Federation of Independent Businesses.

Walden received this award for his voting record in the U.S. House on behalf of Oregon small businesses.

NFIB President and CEO Dan Danner praised Walden for standing up for small business.

According to the Oregon Secretary of State, small businesses make up 98% of the state’s total businesses.

The “Guardian of Small Business” award is given to representatives who vote favorably on key small business issues at least 70 percent of the time.

Walden is currently the only member from Oregon to receive the award.
