Make a difference in the life of a child

Picture

Imagine you are a child who finds yourself in court; the victim of abuse or neglect… in the company of a judge, attorneys, social workers… all strangers. You’re scared; your world has been turned upside down. You are alone. This is the reality that far too many children face every day. CASA provides one-to-one advocacy to help prevent children from “falling through the cracks.”

Our trained volunteers advocate for foster children, assuring that they are placed in safe, nurturing homes where they will flourish. We speak for children who would otherwise have no voice, giving unconditional love and ensuring that each child receives the services they need to heal.

Most of all, CASA of Central Oregon needs you to be a child’s advocate. If you are not currently able to volunteer your time, please consider becoming a CASA supporter.

Providing a Voice of Hope:
Last year, nearly 600 Central Oregon children were removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Instead of experiencing a typical childhood, they attended court hearings, adjusted to new foster homes, and transitioned to new schools. That’s a heavy burden for any child to carry. With a CASA volunteer advocating for their well being, in court and throughout the community, Central Oregon’s most vulnerable children have someone speaking up for their best interests.

You can help by becoming an advocate or helping fund an advocate.  Volunteer. Donate Now.
