Oregon Gas Prices Continue Big Drop

Bend, Ore. –

Oregon Drivers Again Enjoy Largest Monthly Decline in the Nation.

For the fourth week in a row, Oregon drivers are enjoying the largest monthly drop in gas prices in the country as the statewide average plummets 47 cents during this span.

Marie Dodds of AAA of Oregon spoke with KBNW news:

“In Bend we’re down .06 cents for the week, down to 3.06 a gallon.  And again we haven’t been this low in Bend for about 4 years.”

For the week, the Oregon average for regular unleaded is down a nickel to $3.07 a gallon. The national average for regular unleaded falls another four cents this week to $2.93 a gallon. Both averages are at their lowest prices since December 2010.

But, the Oregon average may be leveling off, as it gained a tenth of a cent overnight which is the first increase in a couple of months.
