Menorah, Christmas tree lit and Christmas parade happens in Bend

A festive weekend in Bend.

Hundreds were on hand yesterday for the lighting of the giant Hanukkah menorah in the Old Mill District.

The Bulletin reports it’s part of a worldwide campaign that includes 15-thousand large public menorahs in more than 100 countries.

On Saturday, the Christmas Parade took place in downtown Bend.

The annual Christmas tree lighting in Drake Park happened on Friday.

Annual Rhubarb Festival

This event started in La Pine at L & S Gardens. Upon the retirement of Linda she graciously passed the event on to the La Pine Senior Activity Center.  Each year the community, gathers with everything Rhubarb.
