
HERMISTON, Ore. (KATU) – Flooding caused the Oregon Department of Transportation to close a long stretch of Interstate 84 in Northeast Oregon starting Friday morning. As of Friday afternoon, the highway was still closed. No word on how long the closure will last.

According to ODOT, I-84 eastbound is closed between Hermiston and Pendleton, milepost 182 to 188. I-84 westbound is closed from Ontario to near Hermiston, Milepost 374 to 182.
