BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Two days after reversing their decision to reopen some sport courts, to clear up some uncertainty about state health guidelines, the Bend Park and Recreation District and the city of Redmond said Friday they will be reopening pickleball and tennis courts by Saturday.

“Additional clarity has been received,” the park district said, “and the opening is permissible for tennis and pickleball courts. Basketball, volleyball and other contact sports are still prohibited.”
