Starting June 1, CET will launch Route 31—a new employee-focused transit service between La Pine and Sunriver that will help fill existing transportation gaps and connect residents to essential destinations such as jobs, health care services, pharmacies, and grocery stores. Route 31 will operate seven days per week from June 1 to September 7 this year and will also be offered next summer. Bus stops along Route 31 will be located at 4th and Huntington, St. Charles Family Clinic, and Wickiup Junction in La Pine and at the Library and Resort in Sunriver. The service will be fareless this summer to avoid the exchange of money and to provide an important transportation option to residents who do not drive, cannot drive, or do not have a vehicle and need to access jobs and other essential destinations.

CET takes the cleanliness of our vehicles and the safety of our staff and customers seriously. Staff will continue to disinfect high-touch surfaces on buses and at facilities every four hours, require face coverings for employees and passengers, post maximum occupancy notices on buses, and provide signage and visual cues on buses to encourage passengers to stand and sit at least three feet away from other passengers and six feet away from drivers.
