Fire Destroys Hay West Of Prineville

PRINEVILLE, OR — A Saturday evening fire destroyed roughly 60 tons of hay and farm equipment west of Prineville.  Crews were called to a farm off the O’Neill Highway around 8 p.m., where flames were pouring from the stacked hay.  In addition to the 60 tons, a reach-out loader was destroyed in Saturday’s fire.

The destroyed hay and loader were valued at $50,000.
