COCC Car Show Postponed

Out of an abundance of caution for pedestrian safety and lack of parking during nearby road construction projects, Central Oregon Community College (COCC) is postponing the planned June 1 “BBQ & Car Show” event at the Jungers Culinary Center on the Bend campus.

An exact date has not yet been announced, but the college hopes to host the event in the fall.

The “BBQ and Car Show” was planned as a benefit for the COCC Culinary Club, with funds used to support student travel and participation in regional cooking events and other in-the-field learning opportunities.

If community members would still like to support the Culinary Club this spring, they can make a donation online through the COCC Foundation, noting the donation is intended for/in honor of the COCC Culinary Club.
