An investigation is underway after a Bend man’s body was found in a ditch on North Highway 97. At approximately 9:26 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, Bend Police responded to a request for a welfare check in the 3300 block of North U.S. Highway 97.
When officers arrived they found the body of 62-year-old David Carroll Hickman in a ditch, west of the Pacific Pride gas station.
At this time, the man’s death is being investigated as suspicious.
