Single Car Accident Sends Sisters Man To Hospital

SISTERS, OR — A Sisters man was rushed to the hospital Sunday evening after his SUV struck a tree.  Deschutes County Sheriff’s deputies were called to West St. near 1st Ave. east of Sisters, where Cory Lee Madsen, 46, was trapped inside of his vehicle, unconscious.  Firefighters cut him from the SUV and rushed him to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend with life threatening injuries.

The cause of Sunday evening’s crash has not been determined, but investigators say it appears alcohol and speed were factors.  The DCSO says no arrests have been made.
