“Beaver Cleaver” Coming to Redmond

 Jerry Mathers, best known as Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver on the beloved classic sitcom Leave It to Beaver, will be making a rare Oregon appearance at Beaver State Comic Con, held at the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center on May 31st and June 1st, 2025.

Fans of classic television will have the special opportunity to meet Mathers in person, hear behind-the-scenes stories from one of America’s most iconic family sitcoms, and celebrate the enduring legacy of Leave It to Beaver, which originally aired from 1957 to 1963 and has remained a pop culture staple for generations.

Mathers headlines a lineup of guests appearing at the convention, including:

  • Reb Brown, action star known for his roles as Captain America in the 1979 TV films, Yor, the Hunter from the Future, Uncommon Valor, and Space Mutiny.
  • Peter Kelamis, voice actor and comedian, known for voicing Goku in the Ocean Group dub of Dragon Ball Z, as well as roles in Stargate Universe and Ed, Edd n Eddy.
  • Lindsay Sheppard, voice actress known for her roles in RWBY, My Hero Academia, Hello Kitty, and Smite.
  • Ezra Vervin, rising talent in anime with titles such as Honey Lemon Soda under her belt.

Beaver State Comic Con is a multi-genre pop culture and comic convention held annually in Redmond to celebrate all things pop culture from comic books and movies to television, gaming, and cosplay.
