Mountain Trail Running Has Never Looked Better

NO PAVEMENT HERE. Featuring a full all-trail marathon, a half marathon and a 6.5-mile course (dubbed the “Half As”), the Haulin’ Aspen features beautiful trails that wind through the Deschutes National Forest, showcasing epic views. With varying terrain and elevation, the cool wooded setting provides a challenging and exciting experience.

There will be several elevation changes, so come ready for a challenge. Marathoners will experience a 700-foot vertical gain from mile 21.5 to mile 24. All courses have their ups and downs!

Trails may be dusty and rocky in places, with temperatures cool in the early morning but rising quickly during the day, so it may be wise to carry your own water and energy products and wear sturdier shoes and gaiters, just to play it safe.
